Working Vacation in China is currently offering a visa processing service, either stand-alone or in conjunction with existing service providers (depending on the particular country and the particular area within that country), for a market-related fee.
This is the only step in the recruitment process for which you are required to pay a fee (and you retain the option not to make use of this service but to arrange your own visa).
Either way, obtaining a visa and the supporting documentation requires payment through us, or directly if you arrange your own visa, to the various parties and couriers in your country of origin and internationally. Arranging a Chinese work visa, especially from abroad, can be arduous and needs to be managed step by step. In providing a visa processing service, our aim is to remove the hassles and enable you to obtain your visa quickly and smoothly.
You have the option to enter China on either a tourist or a work visa. Some employers insist that you enter on a work visa, whilst others allow (even encourage) you to enter on a tourist visa and to finalise your work visa from China. Your specific circumstances may justify your entering on a tourist visa and making the necessary work visa arangements from China.
A word of caution: A tourist visa does not allow you to work in China. Visa inspectors regularly check for compliance, so we do not recommend this option. A proper work visa is in the best interests of both you and your employer.
If you choose to apply for a work visa, you and your employer must meet the following requirements:
The visa procedures and associated fees are different for various nationalities and for different locations around China.
